Minoco Wharf
London

Minoco Wharf is in London’s rapidly developing East End, in the London Borough of Newham. The site faces south with quayside frontage to the River Thames.

The planning of buildings and routes are determined by the layout and position of the focal public spaces on site, including the quayside, which has obvious amenity, profile and value.

The size and shape of the site means that its northern segment loses any relationship with the water. To compensate for this and to raise the visual amenity and profile of buildings, a canal and basin is brought into the site, fed by the River Thames.
