HKR Architects and John Pardey Architects won the international design competition, run by the RIBA and Southwark, for Phoenix Primary School.
The project has a beautiful, secure garden wall and four two-storey classroom buildings which creates a new, contemporary visual identity to the school without altering the best qualities of the listed building.
