Sail Street

This modular development provides 30 one bed and three, two bed apartments.

The architectural strategy responds to the split nature of the site to create a linear building with opposing faces.

Apartments face south onto an enclosed residential green space and are clad with a punched brick facade of domestic scale. The north facing circulation spaces buffer the apartments from the railway viaduct and are shrouded in a protective expanded metal skin.

The homes were built using modular construction, speeding up the delivery of affordable homes and minimising disruption to local residents.

The scheme includes communal roof terraces with great views across central London and plenty of secure cycle storage.

"Throughout the project, HKR’s collaborative approach to design, consultation and delivery has enabled this critical project in Pocket’s portfolio, to exceed our expectations." Lucian Smithers, Director of Sales and Marketing, Pocket Living
