Sail Street, London
This modular development provides 30 one bed and 3 two bed apartments. The architectural strategy responds to the split nature of the site to create a linear building with opposing faces. Apartments face south onto an enclosed residential green space and are clad with a punched brick facade of domestic scale. The north facing circulation spaces buffer the apartments from the railway viaduct and are shrouded in a protective expanded metal skin.
