Glengall Road

Work has started on a major 200,000 soft mixed use scheme on Glengall Road as part of the Old Kent Road masterplan.

We are proud to have achieved planning permission for this development which will provide 181 new residential apartments and up to 41,000 sqft of flexible workspace at ground and mezzanine levels, fulfilling the SIL requirement.

 

This planning approval was the second we achieved from Southwark Council as part of OKR10.

All residential units were designed to meet London’s prescribed spatial standards and the key objectives of the LHDG, with the mix of residential units being developed in line with Borough Policy.

The commercial units will cater for a variety of users and incorporates double height active frontage at ground floor to enhance the immediate environs and vibrancy of the new Surrey Canal Linear Park.

 

The approved plans also seek to deliver good quality site amenity for all occupants with longer term ambition as neighbouring developments come forward to create a working yard that will serve as a circulation, access and servicing zone as well as improving connections to the linear park.
